The cardboard houses are pre-cut and glued and are simply folded along the creased lines. The roof of the house works like a hinged lid that can be opened and closed again and again to fill the houses. A particularly practical feature is the small hole punched in the roof of the houses. The enclosed string can be threaded through this hole to hang up the houses. The houses are ideal as decorative items or as cute Advent calendars.
